Advanced Scientifics expands in Mexico.

Advanced Scientifics, an FDA-registered, ISO 13485:2003 certified contract manufacturer headquartered in Millersburg, PA, announced it is building a new 30,000-square-foot facility in Matamoras, Mexico.

According to the company, the capabilities of this facility will duplicate those of the US operations. The Mexican counterpart will offer high-volume, low-cost manufacturing, a class 10,000 cleanroom as well as the company's present quality system, sterilization capability and ERP system. Furthermore, this facility will be FDA registered and ISO 13485 certified.

Avances Cientificos de Mexico is planned to launch in the middle of this year.
