The private placement was at a fixed price per share.

This financing provides the working capital to pursue the company's business plan on a broad front, protecting the intellectual property of the company's products by building a portfolio, establishing marketing partners with domestic and international experts and conducting clinical studies on Lo-Chol with the goal of obtaining a disease claim approval for the lowering of cholesterol to enhance APPI's marketing.

Another example of APPI's increased activity in building sales momentum for its products is the recently announced agreement with Ed McMahon Edward "Ed" Peter Leo McMahon, Jr. (born March 6, 1923) is an American comedian, game show host, announcer and television personality most famous for his work on television as Johnny Carson's announcer on Who Do You Trust? from 1957 to 1962 and on the Tonight Show  as spokesperson for a series of infomercials for Lo-Chol to be aired in the near future.
