Solutions (ASI ASI, n See Anxiety Sensitivity Index. ) jointly announced on December 8 that they have partnered in the field of voice recognition systems for medical purposes. The aims of the alliance are to collect user feedback through ASI's sales channel and to make use of them in product development and improvement. As an initial step, on December 8 ASI began distributing AmiVoice Ex Clinic, AMI's proprietary high-performance voice recognition system designed to create electronic medical charts, through medical sales agencies, book stores and PC shops across Japan. Prices are set at 168,000 yen ($1,400) per license and 398,000 yen ($3,300) per three licenses. ASI aims to sell the product to about 500 institutions over the next two years.
