Advanced Materials, Inc. Announces Senior Staff Promotion.

Seasoned Veteran To Lead California Division

DALLAS -- Advanced Materials, Inc. (Pink Sheets: ADMG), a leading developer and manufacturer of medical, consumer and industrial products, announced this week that it has promoted Becky Austin to General Manager of its California Division. Austin is a 32-year veteran of the company.

"As our company continues the development of consumer-oriented products, there is an increasing focus on consistency and continuity," said Advanced Materials President and CFO, William Mortensen. "Becky has demonstrated her leadership within our company and we have identified her as the one to lead this charge."

While its headquarters are based in Dallas, Texas, Advanced Materials, Inc. produces and distributes products from its Rancho Dominguez, California facility. Austin will oversee the logistics and general operation of this division, enforcing regulatory requirements and maintaining stringent quality standards.

The two-decade citizen of Torrance, CA joined Advanced Materials in 1975 as a Shipping Coordinator. In her spare time, Austin serves on the board of managers for the Torrance South Bay YMCA. She is also a member of the Institute of Supply Management.
