Advanced Integrated Recorders, Inc. (AIR) Wins Contract with U.S. Navy.


MOORESTOWN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 11, 1998--Advanced Integrated Recorders, Inc., (AIR), a subsidiary of Formation, Inc., (Moorestown, NJ) today announced that it has signed a prime contract with the U.S. Navy for the AIR2000(TM) Record and Replay System. The AIR2000 systems will replace all existing recording systems throughout the U.S. Navy in both domestic and international bases of operations. The AIR2000 solution will be used to capture, store, and replay radar processing and voice communication data within these facilities.

The contract is structured to allow any government agency such as the Federal Aviation Administration Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), component of the U.S. Department of Transportation that sets standards for the air-worthiness of all civilian aircraft, inspects and licenses them, and regulates civilian and military air traffic through its air traffic control  (FAA), Department of Defense (Army, Air Force, Marine Corps), Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA DEA - Data Encryption Algorithm ), and the FBI to purchase the AIR2000 system for their facilities.
