Advanced ID Offers Solution To Mad Cow Disease In United States.

Business Editors/High-Tech Writers

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 26, 2003

Advanced ID Corporation (OTCBB:AIDO AIDO - Associazione Italiana Donatori Organi (Organ Donors Italian Association)), a pioneer in the radio frequency identification (RFID) market, today responded to the news regarding the positive test for mad cow disease mad cow disease: see prion. in a Washington state Holstein by offering its RFID livestock technology as an identification and trace-back solution to minimize or eliminate the impact of a disease outbreak.

Barry Bennett, President of Advanced ID Corporation, stated, "We are confident our technology will provide U.S. officials with an identification and trace-back system not only for their cattle industry but for any livestock entering the food system. The importance of having a system in place is critical as we have already seen the economic devastation that resulted from the single case of mad cow disease in Canada in May 2003 that cost Canada's beef exporters more than $1.9 billion.

Advanced ID has been invited by other countries to assist in the establishment of a livestock identification and trace-back system, and has recently been invited to work with a number of states to assist them with the implementation of such a system.
