CALGARY, Alberta -- Advanced ID Corporation (OTCBB:AIDO) CEO, Dan Finch was interviewed today by EquityGroups.com on the exciting future Advanced ID Corporation sees for the future of RFID and how Advanced ID can benefit in this rapidly expanding market.

The following topics were discussed during the interview:

Mad Cow / BSE Traceability: Advanced ID has achieved credibility and positive market acceptance by conducting field studies and obtaining practical application research data before launching our products. By working with teams at the State of Colorado, Department of Agriculture and the State of New York Department of Agriculture and Markets, we have shown the value of our DataTRAC(TM) system. These applications include using tags and readers within these two States' Chronic Wasting Disease projects on Elk and Deer Herds. Independent testing was also conducted at Kansas State University. KSU's report shows that our UHF/RFID DataTRAC(TM) system and application has positive value and use for North American livestock. We also participated in the development of a UHF/RFID study which resulted in a published Technical Report (AIM Global Technical Report, RFID for Food Animal Identification in North America ver1.0) by AIM, the global trade association for Automatic Identification and Data Capture.

Again, Advanced ID's approach has been to invest in research and develop the data necessary for the end-users, governments, regulatory, industry, and association leaders to make informed decisions. These leaders must be armed with credible information as they implement systemic identification programs. Providing optimal trace-back ability of animals is what we must have to protect and manage our food supply. Our customers have told us that the DataTRAC(TM) system provides a proven option for identification because it has been tested in multiple studies and under variable and accurate field conditions. Advanced ID is currently preparing to launch the DataTRAC(TM) system in the North American livestock market.

In Automotive Markets: Advanced ID continues to collaborate with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company (NYSE: GT) to develop, and build, a RFID tag that meets the extremely harsh environment of NASCAR racing. Advanced ID was awarded a production contract with Goodyear to provide UHF/RFID tags for its tires used in all NASCAR race circuits throughout the 2006 season. Under our Advanced ID brand, we are currently developing an ISO and AIAG standards-based generic tire tag for use by global tire manufacturers.

In Asia Markets: Asia is a large and important market. As an example, China's swine inventory in 2006 was at 519 million and it is the largest producer of pork products in the world. Cattle in China represent 142 million head. Additionally, there are over 100 million dogs in China. Carlyle RFID Technologies Ltd. is a venture company developed specifically by Advanced ID and the government for companion and livestock RFID animal identification efforts. Advanced ID believes the companion animal ID opportunity in China to be around 5 million dogs. Regulatory requirements are being put in place for our Advanced ID application to be required in some provinces. Contracts have already been received to supply over 550,000 Advanced ID Pet Microchips to the Guangdong Province alone.

Avian Influenza Outbreak: Advanced ID Corporation has worked with various Thailand government groups over the past 2 years to implement a strong trace-back program for poultry. All governments have the need to avert or to minimize any Avian Influenza outbreak. Using the DataTRAC(TM) system for bulk movement of poultry has been proven in Thailand and provides immediate tracing to point of origin. On a global level, this is just one important component of a very serious challenge, and DataTRAC(TM) can be effective.

Research & Engineering: Advanced ID recently purchased an engineering company and facility in Thailand. Advanced ID Asia Engineering Co. Ltd. enjoys a strong local presence with the various governmental agencies in the country. This week Advanced ID Asia Engineering Co. Ltd. announced a contract with Mahanakorn University of Technology for long-term research on RFID applications.
