Advanced Health Announces Two New Software Agreements With Sacred Heart Hospital And St. Mary's Hospital.

TARRYTOWN, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 10, 1997--Advanced Health Corporation (Nasdaq:ADVH), through its subsidiary Advanced Health Bukstel & Halfpenny (AHB&H), today announced agreements Sacred Heart Hospital located in Yankton, SD, and St. Mary's Hospital located in Waterbury, CT. Terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

Sacred Heart Hospital, a member of Presentation Health, the largest IDS in South Dakota has been added to the integrated clinical network supplied by Advanced Health Bukstel & Halfpenny. Presentation Health currently uses AHB&H's IDS suite of applications including Dr. Chart, the Application Interface Engine (AIE), the Clinical Data Exchange (CDX), and the Clinical Data Repository (CDR). St. Mary's Hospital will be implementing the CDX and Dr. Chart products in an effort to expand its physician outreach programs.

The Dr. Chart system links physicians with hospital-based clinical systems such as laboratory, radiology, and pathology systems. This technology allows physicians to view clinical results rapidly and accurately regardless of which lab or facility produced the report. CDR integrates information from multiple facilities and locations utilizing a Master Person Index, and generates reports useful in HEDIS 3.0, outcomes and disease management.
