:AFT.UN) announced that it has declared a cash distribution of $0.05 per unit payable on November 15, 2004 to unitholders of record at the close of business on October 29, 2004.

Advanced Fiber Technologies (AFT) Income Fund's policy is to pay monthly distributions to unitholders of record on the last business day of each month.

Unitholders are able to benefit from a Distribution Re-investment Plan (DRIP). This plan can only be used to purchase units that are already issued and outstanding, thus is not dilutive to existing unitholders. Only Canadian unitholders are eligible to participate in the plan. Unitholders are invited to obtain further information on this plan from their investment counsellors.
