Advanced Fiber Course Slated.


A three-day course on Advanced Fiber Science is planned for November 16-18, 1999 at the Textile Research Institute (TRI), Princeton, NJ. The course is aimed toward nonwovens, fiber manufacturing, dyeing, finishing and specialty chemicals for textile applications. Topics will include an introduction to polymeric fibers, application of spin finishes, dyeing processes and fiber surface properties.
