Advanced Concepts Center announces multimedia object-oriented training.

(TM)) has launched a groundbreaking multimedia training series, The Multimedia Training Advantage System(TM).

"This new multimedia training has been developed to combine our wealth of object-oriented knowledge with emerging technological innovations; we are creating rich and engaging products that will help improve the practice and applications of object technology," said ACC general manager Ray Delaney.

The ACC seeks to satisfy an ever-increasing need for training materials that combine state-of-the-art educational and information technology with the latest industry advancements and best practices from the Lockheed Martin For the former company, see .

"By working with authors, customers, developers, and technology providers, we are introducing highly visual and engaging curricula," said Jo-An Skowronek, the ACC's director of course development. Jo-An works in partnership with ACC course developers and the ACC's training and consulting manager Paul Mims to identify new products and develop their content.

The ACC's first multimedia programs provide a step-by-step introduction to the concepts and skills needed to apply object-oriented analysis and design Object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) is a software engineering approach that models a system as a group of interacting objects. Each object represents some entity of interest in the system being modeled, and is characterised by its class, its state (data elements), and its  to the development of large, complex systems using Rumbaugh's Object Modeling Technique (OMT (Object Modeling Technique) An object-oriented analysis and design method developed by James Rumbaugh. This innovative training program, in conjunction with instruction by the ACC's training specialists, presents lessons that enable the student to learn from a broad information base.

Future planned features of the ACC's multimedia courses include integrated video case studies and videos of guest speakers, audio commentary, question-and-answer sections, and a database of articles linked to program content.
