Advanced Communications Technologies Announces Second Patent Filing and Highlights of Investor Conference Call.

Advanced Communications Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: ADVC), today announced that its Australian-based affiliate, Advanced Communications Technologies (Australia) Pty Ltd (ACT-AUS), has filed the second in a series of patents to provide protection for its revolutionary multiple protocol wireless base station technology known as SpectruCell.

The patent, filed today in Melbourne, Australia, is planned to provide SpectruCell with patent protection initially in Australia and North America. The patent filing relates to the software based implementation of quadrature modulation as used in CDMA cellular systems. This technology forms the basis of numerous functions in the SpectruCell multiple protocol base station. This latest advancement adds to the existing technological achievements of the SpectruCell team.

It should be noted that the ability to implement CDMA functionality of the IS95 standard has been achieved without the use of Qualcomm chipsets, or any other protocol specific hardware.
