Victoria Communications will retain a 10% interest.

Roger May said he was very excited by the acquisition of VIC COM as it not only gave ACT an important source of revenue from the existing customer base, but also provided the opportunity for the company to establish itself as a key wireless telecommunications service provider A Telecommunications Service Provider or TSP is a type of Communications Service Provider that has traditionally provided telephone and similar services. This category includes ILECs, CLECs, and mobile wireless companies.  in Australia.

"Victoria Communications is a mature business, having been in operation in Victoria for more than 20 years, and brings ownership or leases of seven communications towers strategically placed around the city of Melbourne, in key transmitting locations" he said. "These towers represent a current core business providing VHF (Very High Frequency) The range of electromagnetic frequencies from 30 MHz to 300 MHz.  and UHF (Ultra High Frequency) The range of electromagnetic frequencies from 300 MHz to 3 GHz. In the U.S., analog television has used UHF channels 52 to 69 in the 700 MHz band.  trunking services for a wide range of customers, especially in the courier, trucking and cab businesses."

"It also gives ACT the opportunity to install further microwave links between the towers and to negotiate wholesale arrangements with major telecommunication carriers to provide least call routing for last mile voice and data termination services. We have already been granted license spectrum by the Australian Communication Authority (ACA ACA - Application Control Architecture ) which can handle a throughput of up to 155 megabits per second (unit) megabits per second - (Mbps, Mb/s) Millions of bits per second. A unit of data rate. 1 Mb/s = 1,000,000 bits per second (not 1,048,576).

and which will allow us to achieve high speed wireless point to point communication between the existing towers."

Another important component in the acquisition is the excellent relationships that Victoria Communications has established over the years with regional tower owners in the high-density rural areas, which will allow for further complementary acquisitions, and the expansion of the network into other important wireless markets.

"This will be a vital first step in allowing ACT to expand the network interstate and thus ultimately becoming a nationwide service provider. Victoria Communications experience in the industry, together with their strategic industry alliances established over the last 20 years will assist in the development of that national goal," said Roger May. " Our plan is to substantially expand the customer base while expanding the business through the development of new applications and the provision of high quality service, while continually seeking ways to upgrade these services, especially via the acquisition of other complementary networks.

"One important development that will be on offer to VIC COM customers will be the imminent launch of ACT's revolutionary new wireless communications network technology, SpectruCell.

Advanced Communications Technologies is in the completion stages of the development of a "state of the art" multiple protocol operating system ("SpectruCell") for mobile wireless network products, that is well placed to become the primary communications network operating system for all wireless communications technologies in the 21st Century.

A SpectruCell network differentiates itself from existing communications networks by being able to process and transmit all communications protocols (CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) A method for transmitting simultaneous signals over a shared portion of the spectrum. The foremost application of CDMA is the digital cellular phone technology from QUALCOMM that operates in the 800 MHz band and 1.9 GHz PCS band. , GSM, 3G, etc.), as well as the new wireless internet applications, all within the same network."

As part of the SpectruCell network system ACT has also developed a spectrally efficient microwave system (SEM) that can achieve up to 155 megabits per second with a spectral efficiency of 8.5 bits per second per hertz, thus making it compatible with the wireless spectrum granted by the ACA.

"We are delighted to report that not only have we have already identified four well known communications companies as customers for VIC COM network development in Victoria, and we are also in negotiations with a number of router supply companies," Roger May added. "We now believe that we have a base that will enable us to become one of the major wireless voice and data carriers in Australia."

Advanced Communications Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB "ADVC") owns twenty percent (20%) of ACT AUS, and a proportionate equity in all of the ACT AUS subsidiary companies.
