"Our intention is to create our own internal experts in each process," said Tony Garramone, corporate training manager for Advanced Circuits. "Certification creates a sense of pride in workmanship and benefits the customer through our on-time delivery rate and products that are manufactured correctly the first time."

Employees are encouraged to become certified not only in their specific production area but in other processes as well. In addition, all employees, including upper-level management, are required to complete a minimum of four hours of training each month. This commitment to educating and investing in employees has paid off in low employee turnover and high job satisfaction.
