Advanced Ceramics is the world's largest producer of Boron Nitride Boron nitride (BN) is a binary chemical compound, consisting of equal proportions of boron and nitrogen. The empirical formula is therefore BN. Boron nitride is isoelectronic to the elemental forms of carbon and isomorphism occurs between the two species.  (BN) powders. A brand new world headquarters facility is being built in Strongsville, Ohio Strongsville is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 43,858 as of the 2000 Census. The current mayor, Thomas Perciak, was elected in November 2003 following the death of longtime mayor Walter F. Ehrnfelt in May. . The new building, which was designed specifically for our processors, began some of its operations in year 2000. The 250,000 square foot facility is part of a two-phase construction project that will allow room for expansion on the 27-acre site. Ground breaking on the second phase occurred in October 2000. The complete transfer of all equipment and processes will occur by the end of year 2003.

Worldwide, Advanced Ceramics has a production facility in Kozuki, Japan and South Glamorgan South Glamorgan (gləmôr`gən), former county, S Wales.
