Advanced Business Sciences, Inc. Announces Contract With General Security Services Corporation.

OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 6, 1999--Advanced Business Sciences, Inc. (OTC:ABSH) ("ABS"), an Omaha based technology company that provides real-time monitoring and tracking of adults and juveniles released from incarceration as a criminal justice rehabilitative alternative, has announced the signing of an agreement with General Security Services Corporation (GSSC) to supply the ABS<ComTrak(R) System and the ABS<ComGuard(TM) house arrest unit for resale to GSSC's customers. Since 1946, the Minneapolis based GSSC has been providing security services to businesses and government agencies throughout the country. GSSC is currently one of the largest providers of alternative monitoring in the United States.

Additionally, ABS has announced the signing of contracts in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Illinois. Framingham County, Massachusetts, has signed a six month pilot program to begin January 15, 1999, utilizing the ABS<ComTrak(R) unit in monitoring adults in the Intensive Supervision Sexual Offender Program. The New Jersey Probation Service has issued a state purchase order to ABS for use of the ABS<CinTrak(R) unit in its Adult Intensive Supervision program. This purchase order follows one previously issued by the same agency for its Juvenile program. ComGuard Corporation, the wholly-owned subsidiary of ABS, has signed several contracts to provide ABS<ComGuard(TM) house arrest units in the states of Illinois, North Carolina and Kansas.
