Advanced Biotherapy Inc. Announces New Corporate Profile, Management, and Raising of Capital.

Advanced Biotherapy Inc. (OTCBB:ADVB) today announced its corporate strategy to advance its drug development programs and the new management and capital it has put in place to achieve these goals.

The company intends to focus its efforts on developing an Anti-Interferon-gamma (Anti-IFNg) drug product that will be utilized for the treatment of autoimmune diseases (AD), such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). The company will pursue the development of its intellectual property portfolio covering this strategy and to continue to seek a corporate partner to help finance the development of its Anti-IFNg strategy. The company is currently in discussions with several such potential partners in both the U.S. and Europe, and is also in discussions with potential partners regarding its second drug development program, which utilizes a proprietary cocktail of antibodies to inflammatory cytokines to remove these damaging agents from AD patient sera.

The financing of this corporate strategy will be accomplished, in part, by the now-completed private placement of $1.5 million of convertible subordinated debt. Cappello Capital Corp. was the placement agent for this transaction. The management of the company has agreed to a one year restriction on sales of its own stock as part of the placement.

In order to affect the company's new and more focused business strategy, the company has made some management changes that enable it to function in a manner consistent with these goals. The Board of Directors has been augmented by Dr. Paul J. Marangos, Alexander Cappello and John Bendheim. The Chairman and CEO position has been assumed by Dr. Marangos and the company's former CEO, President and CFO, Edmond Buccellato, has resigned but will continue to serve on the Board of Directors. Margo Dockendorf, Esq. has been appointed secretary and treasurer of the company, in addition to her role as director of operations and general corporate counsel.
