Leveraging his extensive management and financial experience at both small entrepreneurial companies and global public companies, Buckland will help drive ABS and its multi-biometric identity management and access control product into the next phase of growth and success with a larger partner.

Buckland joins ABS from Engim, Inc., a technology chip company that he founded in a basement and grew to a successful 52-person company. Previously, Buckland was chairman, CEO and president of Clare, Inc. (NASDAQ: CPCL). In 1976, he received the "Entrepreneur of The Year" (NASDAQ, Ernst & Young and others) Award. Buckland also has senior management experience at Schlumberger, Teradyne, Texas Instruments and Lex.
