Advance Realty raises $200k for community development.

The Advance Realty Foundation, a 501(3c) enterprise which supports organizations focused on education, arts/ humanities, youth, families and community development issues, recently held two fimdraising events that drew more than 100 attendees and raised more than $200,000.

The funds will be used to sponsor a variety of organizations and charities, including the Children's Specialized Hospital, Wounded Warriors, Brain Injury Institute of New Jersey, and various others.

The Advance Realty Foundation was formed in 2001 to improve education and educational opportunities; positively affect today's youth and families, especially at-risk and minority groups; enhance economic opportunities for at-risk populations; and preserve art and history. The two events included a Monopoly Night benefit, and a special fundraising dinner for the Children's Specialized Hospital, the largest pediatric rehabilitation hospital in the country.

"We believe that it is incumbent upon all of us, whether an employee or employer, to contribute to the social well-being of the communities in which we live and operate" said Peter Cocoziello, founder of the Advance Realty Foundation, and president and CEO of Advance Realty Group. "These fundraisers were just one part of our commitment to that endeavor, as we will continue seeking opportunities to contribute on a local and regional scale."

Amy B. Mansue, president and CEO of the Children's Specialized Hospital, added, "The Advance Realty Foundation's commitment to our organization has been instrumental in helping us attain our fundraising goals in an effort to build a new five-story, 128,000 s/f, state-of-the-art pediatric rehabilitation hospital on the campus of the renowned Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. The Foundation's contributions will help us open the new hospital later this year."
