Advance Group unveils strategy for its future.

The Advance Group hosted leaders from the commercial real estate brokerage industry for a presentation on the company's investment and acquisition strategies on Sept. 19 at The Hilton at Short Hills.

Most of the leading investment brokers and nearly every major firm in the New York and New Jersey market were represented at the event.

On hand from The Advance Group were Peter Cocoziello, President, Greg Senkevitch, Chief Operating Officer, Gary Sopko, Managing Director of Capital Markets/Acquisitions, Joseph Romano, Senior V.P./Managing Director, and Steve Kukan, Senior V.P. Marketing and Government Relations.

After a general networking session, The Advance Group presented the group with an overview of the company's investment strategies for the near future. The company revealed that it is embarking on a significant investment/acquisition program throughout Central and Northern New Jersey. The Advance Group, through its investment subsidiary, Advance Realty Advisors, is targeting both existing Class A buildings and redevelopment opportunities throughout New Jersey as well as in the Boston and Washington, D.C. markets. In 2000, Advance expects to close on 1,750,000 square feet of acquisitions representing in excess of $150 million.
