AdvanSys Will Demo Single End-User and High-End Server SCSI Applications With Traxdata CD Makers at PC Expo '98.


SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 1998--Advanced System Products Inc. (AdvanSys) will demonstrate their ABP 1. (networking) ABP - Alternating bit protocol.

Traxdata is a worldwide supplier of computer disks and CD recorders which interface with the AdvanSys host bus adapters. AdvanSys will run both a single user system and a high end server application using the multiple-SCSI channel capabilities of the ABP980UA adapter.

Attendees will be able to make their own copies of CDs in the booth. AdvanSys will also show samples of their full line of Fast, Ultra and Ultra Wide (UW) SCSI adapters in the booth.

980UA is the AdvanSys new four-channel host bus adapter with flashable BIOS, designed for high end integrators and resellers. The ABP980UA provides access to as many as 28 SCSI devices from one PCI slot.
