WILMINGTON, Mass. -- AdvanSource Biomaterials Corporation will showcase its advanced biomaterials incorporating characteristics critical to medical devices at MD&M East, June 3-5 at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, Booth # 1354. AdvanSource Biomaterials, which develops advanced polymer materials for medical device design and development, is launching its website later this afternoon at www.AdvBiomaterials.com.

In addition to Ms. Carroll, the AdvanSource team, including CEO &President Michael Adams and Dr. Andrew Reed, Vice President of Science and Technology, will be at booth # 1354 to demonstrate the Company's leading edge technology, notably products such as ChronoFlex[R], HydroMed[TM], and HydroThane[TM] which have been developed to overcome a wide range of design and functional challenges, from the need for dimensional stability, ease of manufacturability and demanding physical properties to overcoming environmental stress cracking (ESC) and providing heightened lubricity for ease of insertion.

The Company will also be unveiling its antimicrobial extension lines that compliment the ChronoFlex[R] and HydroMed[TM] product families. Through proprietary manufacturing techniques, the Company has produced materials which allow for full homogenous dispersion throughout the polymer, thus resulting in long lasting and consistent activity and the prevention of leaching. The end result being a technologically advanced antimicrobial material which reduces the potential for foreign body patient infections, has a higher kill rate and is less susceptible to bacterial growth and biofilm formations.
