Adura Announces Ford's Former Greenleaf Subsidiary Director, Joe Savanyo, an Automotive Industry Executive, Joins Advisory Board.

MENLO PARK, Calif. -- Adura Systems announced today that Joe Savanyo, former business development director for Ford's Greenleaf subsidiary, has joined its Advisory Board.

Joe brings a wealth of industry experience to Adura. Joe was previously a New York Investment Banker, and an Engineer at both GM (NYSE:GM) and Ford (NYSE:F), where he worked with corporate and entrepreneurial environments holding many business and technical positions covering all functional areas on a global basis. Joe has previously developed electric vehicles and industry first vehicles for Ford and GM. Joe has led joint Ford and GM clean tech initiatives for the Society of Automotive Engineers. Joe is also a VC mentor for the University of Michigan Ross Business School where he facilitates the commercialization of clean technologies. He is partner at Atera Partners LLC, a private equity and corporate advisory group. He has founded and sold or taken public clean tech firms, such as American Plastic Processing. Mr. Savanyo has been an invited speaker and consultant at The Yale Club, Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS), McKinsey & Company, UBS (NYSE:UBS), Credit Suisse (NYSE:CS), Fidelity Investments, Deutsche Bank (NYSE:DB), Battery Ventures, Swiss RE, William Blair, Bain & Company, Putnam Investments, D.E. Shaw, Och-Ziff, and KPMG, among others. Joe has been active in a variety of strategic fuel efficiency and clean tech initiatives around the globe including board membership of the Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association.
