The measures that I propose to achieve higher levels of excellence within AWDD, enhance our effectiveness as professionals and become truly responsive to stakeholders are:

* Conduct a focused comprehensive membership drive that communicates the benefits and value of ACTE's Adult Workforce Development Division to all members;

* Work closely with the Association for Career and Technical Education and help support and drive their mission, vision and goals; and

* Develop additional partnerships with business, industry, labor and other organizations to gain their support, benefit from their expertise and ensure our ability to respond to their needs.

I am asking you to be actively involved in the Adult Workforce Development Division so we can make it the vital organization that we need in these challenging times. I am also asking for your vote. Working together, we can bring the organization and the profession to new levels of excellence.
