The Federal Reserve Board on January January: see month. 31, 2003, announced the adoption of a final role implementing several of the reporting, disclosure, and corporate governance Corporate Governance
The relationship between all the stakeholders in a company. This includes the shareholders, directors, and management of a company, as defined by the corporate charter, bylaws, formal policy, and rule of law. requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act See SOX. of 2002 for those state member banks that have a class of securities registered under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
The final role, like the interim role it replaces, requires such state member banks to comply with any roles adopted by the Securities and Exchange Commission under designated sections of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
