Adopting anger; pro-gay advocates flood Florida with E-mails demanding the state drop its gay-parenting ban. (On the Web).

Prompted in large part by Rosie O'Donnell s O'Donnell (Irish: Ó Dónaill or Ó Dómhnaill), which is derived from the forname Domhnaill (meaning "world ruler", Rex Mundi in Latin, Modern Irish spelling, Dónall) were an ancient and powerful Irish clan, kings, princes, and lords of Tyrconnel in early times, and  coming out as a gay parent in an interview with Diane Sawyer This article or section is written like an .

on March 14, thousands of gay men and lesbians and their supporters are taking to the Internet to let Florida officials know what they think about the state's ban against gay adoption.

The interview marked the fourth day of a campaign spearheaded by the American Civil Liberties Union American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), nonpartisan organization devoted to the preservation and extension of the basic rights set forth in the U.S. Constitution. . Florida officials said governor Jeb Bush John Ellis "Jeb" Bush (born February 11, 1953) is an American politician, and was the 43rd Governor of Florida as well as the first Republican to be re-elected to that office. He is a prominent member of the Bush family: the younger brother of current President George W.  and the state's adoption agency had received 63,000 E-mails.

The form letter most are using, from the Web site http://www.lethimstay.com, reads in part: "The gay adoption ban has no basis in child welfare.... As evidence continues to mount that this law discriminates unfairly and fails Florida's children, I urge you to publicly voice your support for overturning or repealing it."

It may take more than tens of thousands of E-mails to persuade some state politicians to change their mind about gay and lesbian parenting, however. State representative Randy Ball, a Republican from Titusville, says he supports the ban whole-heartedly. "I feel very strongly that allowing homosexuals to adopt is a bad idea, primarily because of evidence which conclusively con·clu·sive

shows that the homosexual lifestyle is a very destructive one," Ball said.

The E-mail campaign is just one part of the ACLU's effort to get rid of the ban. The group also has asked a federal appeals court to overturn it.
