Adobe Systems signs development agreement with Topmax Corp.; Topmax to provide service and expertise to help Adobe's original equipment manufacturers develop Adobe PostScript products.

Adobe's Development Partner Program offers OEMs another avenue for product development. Adobe Development Partners receive all the tools and assistance necessary to create Adobe PostScript products.

Adobe certifies the final product to ensure complete PostScript language and imaging model compliance. Other development program members include Peerless Systems Corp., Quintar Co. and Personal Computer Products Inc.

With Adobe PostScript Level 2 software, the industry-standard page-description language, end users gain several benefits when printing documents.

These include consistent and predictable color with more control from the application, better printer memory-management to handle complex imaging and data compression data compression
