At that time it was replaced by Adobe's newly launched consumer oriented image editing software, Photoshop Elements. , a software product that allows consumers to easily modify, personalize and enhance photographs.

The product features a user-friendly interface that has been tested extensively with consumers. It visually guides users through a series of easy-to-follow steps for modifying photos and provides easily identifiable tools for completing each task.

Adobe PhotoDeluxe provides users two modes of working in the program: Guided Activities and On Your Own. In either mode, the user interface visually guides both novice and expert users through each step of the photo modification and enhancement process.

Removing Red Eye, Creating a Calendar, Photo Cleanup Through Guided Activities

Graphical "tabs" represent each process in the activity and prompt users to "click" step-by-step through dozens of projects including removing "red eye," customizing a greeting card with photos, text and clip-art, creating a calendar with personal photos for each month, or removing dust and scratches from an old photo.

Projects created in Guided Activities can be further modified in the On Your Own mode using the same easy-to-use tools. In addition, photos or projects can be output to a variety of color not of the white race; - commonly meaning, esp. in the United States, of negro blood, pure or mixed.
