Adobe Systems Provides Q1 FY2003 Intra-Quarter Business Update; Company Reaffirms First Quarter Targets.

Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE), the leader in network publishing, today is providing its regular intra-quarter business update for its first quarter of fiscal 2003, which ends February 28, 2003.

With more than four weeks remaining in its first quarter, Adobe stated that all of its major geographic markets are on track, and believes it will achieve revenue and pro forma earnings per share within the target ranges it previously provided on December 12, 2002. The Company's first quarter target ranges are revenue of $275 to $290 million, and pro forma earnings per share of $0.21 to $0.23.

The Company plans to report its first quarter fiscal 2003 results on March 13, 2003 after the market closes.
