Adobe Systems' John Warnock Inducted Into Computer Industry Hall of Fame.

John E. October 6, 1940) is an American computer scientist best known as the co-founder with Charles Geschke of Adobe Systems Inc., the graphics and publishing software company. Although retired as CEO in 2001, he still co-chairs the board with Geschke.  is a pioneer of desktop publishing desktop publishing, system for producing printed materials that consists of a personal computer or computer workstation, a high-resolution printer (usually a laser printer), and a computer program that allows the user to select from a variety of type fonts and sizes, ," said Robert Faletra, editor-in-chief of Computer Reseller News. Warnock and partner Charles Geschke Charles M. "Chuck" Geschke (b. 1939) is best known as the co-founder with John Warnock of Adobe Systems Inc., the graphics and publishing software company, in 1982.  founded Adobe Systems Inc., in 1982 and altered the ancient process of applying print to paper, sparking one of the most explosive movements in the high-technology industry--desktop publishing. He is described as a man consumed by his quest to forever change the art of publishing. Warnock has been a leader in desktop publishing since the 1970s when he worked at Xerox Corp.
