Adobe Signs Multi-Year Distribution Agreement with Google; Adobe and Google Team to Distribute the Google Toolbar with Adobe's Macromedia Shockwave Player, Additional Adobe Products in the Future.

As a part of the agreement, Adobe and Google today will launch availability of the Google Toolbar with downloads of Adobe's Macromedia Shockwave(R) Player. The Google Toolbar will now be offered as part of the Shockwave Player installation process for Internet Explorer Microsoft's Web browser, which comes with Windows starting with Windows 98. Commonly called "IE," versions for Mac and Unix are also available. Internet Explorer is the most widely used Web browser on the market. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Estimated revenue for Fiscal Year 2006 as a result of this agreement was factored into Fiscal 2006 financial targets provided by Adobe June 15, 2006.
