Previously only available through systems integrators and third-party developers servicing large publishing enterprises, Adobe InCopy CS will now also be sold directly from the Adobe store (www.adobe.com/store), bringing InCopy in reach of small editorial teams for the first time.

"Customers working in smaller workgroups that have a need for a collaborative editorial workflow will greatly benefit from the tight integration between InCopy CS and InDesign CS," said Jim Heeger, senior vice president of Creative Professional Products at Adobe. "In addition, as InCopy and InDesign make headway Verb 1. make headway - obtain advantages, such as points, etc.; "The home team was gaining ground"; "After defeating the Knicks, the Blazers pulled ahead of the Lakers in the battle for the number-one playoff berth in the Western Conference"  in large publishing houses, our system integrators and third-party developer partners will continue to deliver the workhorse solutions required by editorial workgroups in large, database-driven, publishing environments."

Originally designed for large publishing companies, InCopy CS is extending its market reach by providing a professional editorial workflow solution for small workgroups of less than 10 people -- in ad agencies, design firms, newspapers and magazines -- through an innovative bridge technology that enables InDesign CS and InCopy CS to work together right out of the package. With InCopy CS, writers and editors have more control over the integrity of their copy, reducing editorial revision cycles and enhancing collaboration among editors and designers.

Maintain Copy Integrity Through Page Visualization

Tight integration between InDesign and InCopy, provides 100 percent accurate line-break information, while alternative document views -- galley view, story view, layout view -- allow editors to see how the copy and page layout :For the Wikipedia policy about articles layout, see Wikipedia:Guide to layout. Page layout is the part of graphic design that deals in the arrangement and style treatment of elements (content) on a page.  interact. Meanwhile quick access to detailed document statistics such as word, line and character counts, as well as vertical depth measurement, makes copyfitting easier.

Work Smarter with Parallel Workflow

Together, Adobe InCopy CS and Adobe InDesign CS set the foundation for a true parallel workflow between editors and designers. Using editorial workflow technology and simple file check-in and check-out, editors and designers can work on the same content simultaneously without overwriting Overwriting
