Presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, The Webby Awards are a set of awards presented to the "world's best websites". The awards have been given out since 1996.

Considered the "Oscars of the Internet," the Webby Awards are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences or IADAS was founded in 1998 in New York to help drive the progress of the Internet and evolving forms of new media. The academy selects the nominees and winners for the Webby Awards.  and are deemed as the preeminent industry award.

This year, Adobe has also donated to the award winners and the Webby Award production teams the industry's most comprehensive and integrated tools for creating high-impact, interactive professional Web sites. The Adobe Web Collection includes Adobe GoLive Adobe GoLive is an HTML editor from Adobe Systems. It replaced Adobe PageMill as Adobe's primary HTML editor[1]. The latest version of Adobe GoLive is version 9, and is not integrated as part of Adobe Creative Suite 3. (R), Adobe Photoshop See Photoshop. (R), Adobe Illustrator A full-featured drawing program for Windows and Macintosh from Adobe. It provides sophisticated tracing and text manipulation capabilities as well as color separations. Included is Adobe Type Manager and a selection of Type 1 fonts. (R), and Adobe LiveMotion Adobe LiveMotion was a product created by Adobe Systems released in 2000 and perceived as a direct competitor to Macromedia Flash. It replaced the discontinued Adobe ImageStyler program, which Adobe had sold from 1998 to 2000. (TM), and the Adobe Streaming Media Collection contains Adobe(R) Premiere(R), Adobe After Effects(R), Adobe LiveMotion, and Adobe GoLive software. Both collections deliver powerful software for building dynamic Web sites that include streaming media and interactive animation. The Webby Awards ceremony will include animations created with this award-winning Adobe software.
