200 New Features

(stock symbol) ) today announced the introduction of the Adobe Video Collection 2.5, which includes new versions of its award-winning digital video products Adobe(R) Premiere(R) Pro 1.5, Adobe After Effects(R) 6.5, Adobe Audition Adobe Audition (formerly Cool Edit Pro) is a digital audio editor computer program from Adobe Systems featuring both a multitrack, non-destructive mix/edit environment and a destructive-approach waveform editing view. (TM) 1.5 and Adobe Encore Adobe Encore (previously Adobe Encore DVD) is a DVD authoring software tool produced by Adobe Systems and targeted at semi-professional video producers. Adobe Video Collection 2.5 will be debuted at the Adobe booth (#SL4730) during the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) event in Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  from April 19-22.

Enhanced integration and common interface elements make working in the Adobe video postproduction environment easier and more productive. Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe Premiere Pro, formerly known as Adobe Premiere, is a real-time, timeline based video editing software application. Adobe Encore DVD also recognizes timeline markers created in After Effects 6.5 and Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 AVI (Audio Video Interleaved) A Windows multimedia video format from Microsoft. It interleaves standard waveform audio and digital video frames (bitmaps) to provide reduced animation at 15 fps at 160x120x8 resolution. Audio is 11,025Hz, 8-bit samples.  and MPEG-2 files, giving users the option to convert markers to DVD chapter points. In addition to integration features across the Adobe Video Collection, each of the products announced today offers significant new functionality.

The Adobe Video Collection is available in two versions, Standard and Professional. Designed for corporate and event production professionals, the Adobe Video Collection Standard includes Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, Adobe After Effects 6.5 Standard, Adobe Audition 1.5, and Adobe Encore DVD 1.5. The Professional edition of the Adobe Video Collection was created for film and broadcast professionals, incorporating Adobe After Effects 6.5 Professional and Adobe Photoshop CS.

Pricing and Availability

The Adobe Video Collection available for Windows XP The previous client version of Windows. XP was a major upgrade to the client version of Windows 2000 with numerous changes to the user interface. XP improved support for gaming, digital photography, instant messaging, wireless networking and sharing connections to the Internet. (R) will be available in the second calendar quarter of 2004. The estimated street price for Adobe Video Collection Standard will be US$999. Upgrade versions from any of the individual products will be available for an estimated street price of US$799. The estimated street price for Adobe Video Collection Professional will be US$1499. Customers who owned the previous version of Adobe Video Collection Standard or Professional editions will be eligible to upgrade for an estimated street price of US$249. Adobe Video Collection Standard customers can upgrade to Adobe Video Collection Professional for an estimated street price of US$799.
