Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE), the leader in network publishing, today announced the appointment of Anthony Nemelka as vice president, Asia Pacific, a new position responsible for driving the company's business in the region which includes Japan, China, India, Australia, New Zealand New Zealand (zē`lənd), island country (2005 est. pop. 4,035,000), 104,454 sq mi (270,534 sq km), in the S Pacific Ocean, over 1,000 mi (1,600 km) SE of Australia. The capital is Wellington; the largest city and leading port is Auckland. , Taiwan, Korea, Singapore and Malaysia.

In his new role, Nemelka is responsible for developing business opportunities, forging strategic alliances and increasing Adobe's customer focus across the entire Asia Pacific region. His enterprise software expertise will complement Adobe's existing management team to maximize growth opportunities in its traditional markets and drive Adobe's expansion into the enterprise market.
