Adobe ActiveShare.com Expands Service With Photo Products From iPrint.com, the Leading Online Print Shop.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 1999--

Adobe/iPrint.com Print Center Offers Creative Application for

Burgeoning Digital Imaging Market

iPrint.com, http://www.iPrint.com, today announced that it has formed an alliance with Adobe Systems Incorporated, the leader in digital imaging.

The companies have created a special Adobe/iPrint.com Print Center which allows Adobe ActiveShare.com (http://www.ActiveShare.com) users to design and order iPrint.com customized photo products from the co-branded store.

By allowing consumers to personalize products using their own digital photos, iPrint.com provides a much-needed, creative application for the growing digital imaging market, which is expected to ship 26 million units (digital cameras and scanners) by the year 2001. The digital camera market alone is predicted to grow to $6.4 billion by the year 2003.

"The Adobe/iPrint.com Print Center gives people a quick and easy way to turn their favorite photos into treasured keepsakes," commented Royal P. Farros, CEO and Chairman of iPrint.com. "This is a perfect real-world application for the exploding digital imaging market."

The Adobe/iPrint.com Print Center will feature dozens of unique photo products that Adobe ActiveShare.com users can design and personalize using their favorite digital photos. Customizable products include T-shirts, mouse pads, caps, mugs, puzzles, sweatshirts, Post-it(R) Note cubes, baby bibs, golf balls, and dozens of others.

"We selected iPrint.com for its broad array of high quality print choices for creating personalized gifts using digital photos," said Kyle Mashima, Vice President of Consumer and On-line Solutions, Adobe Systems Incorporated. "Together we are able to offer yet another way for consumers to share their photos."

Using the Adobe/iPrint.com Print Center is fast and simple. Consumers simply pick the products they want to design, upload their digital photo onto the product, and then put their creative skills to work. iPrint.com provides all the elements needed -- easy-to-use templates, hundreds of pieces of clip art, the ability to include customized text, and dozens of fonts and ink colors to select from.

An end-to-end solution for digital imaging, Adobe ActiveShare software, available via free download from www.ActiveShare.com, allows consumers to quickly get photos into the computer from a variety of sources, perform basic edits, and then organize them into electronic photo albums. Adobe ActiveShare also features a link to Adobe ActiveShare.com, a Web site where consumers can create personal communities to share photos and have discussions with family and friends.

iPrint.com has created `easy desktop publishing on the Internet' and integrated a network of highly sophisticated printers on the backend for fulfillment. iPrint.com is a fast and cost-effective way for businesses and consumers to order a wide range of business stationery products, ad specialty promotional items, and gifts at prices that are up to 50% less than traditional print shops.

iPrint.com, a privately held company with strategic investments from SOFTBANK Technology Ventures, AT&T Ventures, Intel Corporation, Canaan Partners, and ITV (Information Technology Ventures), is the primary supplier of online kiosk systems to the commercial and quick printing industry. iPrint.com's strategic partners include 3M (NYSE:MMM), OfficeMax (NYSE:OMX), Sir Speedy, and other Fortune 500 companies.
