Admire ties record as Lane women stay unbeaten.

Lindsay Admire tied a school record with six three-point baskets Friday en route to 25 points that led Lane Community College to a 96-56 win over Green River in the NWAACC NWAACC Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges  Women's Crossover Tournament at Bremerton, Wash.

The victory improved the Titans' record to 7-0 and moved them into the semifinals against Blue Mountain Community College Blue Mountain Community College is a community college located in Pendleton, Oregon, United States, and serves Umatilla and Morrow counties. Oregon State won half the night's matches, but a pair of pins by Nebraska made the difference as the 25th-ranked Beavers fell to the ninth-ranked Cornhuskers 22-16 in nonleague wrestling Friday night in Lincoln, Neb.

Beaver 133-pounder Tim Norman, filling in as 16th-ranked Nathan Navarro recovers from a minor injury, nearly added another Oregon State win before losing 7-5 to Joey Malia.

The difference in the team score came on pins by a pair of nationally-ranked Cornhuskers. At 157 pounds, No. 1 Bryan Snyder beat Micah Houston in 2:00; at 197, No. 5 Justin Ruiz beat Jason Lovell in 1:49.

 scored the game-winner in the third period as the Eugene Thunder beat the Kootenai Colts 2-1 in a Junior-B hockey game at Lane County Ice on Friday.

Ross scored on an assist from Powell Gallagher at the 6:29 mark of the third period, helping Eugene improved to 22-4-0 this season. The Thunder have now won 13 straight and 15 of 16 games entering a rematch with Kootenai at 7:30 tonight.

Kootenai got on the board first 11:14 into the first period, when Christian Valenta scored unassisted. The score remained 1-0 until Tom McCracken tied it with just nine seconds left in the second period off an assist from Adam Seward.

Kootenai fell to 11-13-2 with the loss.
