Admax Technology Announces Letter of Intent.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 25, 1998--Admax Technology Inc. (OTC BB:WVFD) today announced the signing of a Letter of Intent to acquire Western Carriers Transport International Inc. (WCTI), a Texas-based bulk tanker transport company, with operations in six Midwest and Southwest states.

WCTI has annual sales of approximately $6 million per year, and counts Cargill Inc. and Archer Daniels Midland as its core customers. Terms were not disclosed. In commenting on the acquisition, Rex Mason, a principal of Admax said, "Western Carriers, which is now modestly profitable, should show increased earnings because of the economies of scale and cost-savings achieved through consolidation of operations. Admax is continuing to seek acquisitions of other regional carriers in an aim to build a base to become a major entity in the areas of the country in which we operate."

This is the second recent acquisition Admax Technology Inc. has announced. Earlier this month, the company announced the final agreement to acquire E.W.S. Inc., another regional trucking company operating in the Southern region of the United States.
