MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- Joint offering provides customers a comprehensive solution for passively accessing and monitoring network traffic to ensure service quality

Adlex Inc.(TM) (www.adlex.com) today announced a reseller agreement with Net Optics(TM), the leader in secure monitoring access for security and network management. Under the terms of the agreement, Adlex will resell Net Optics' passive monitoring Passive monitoring is a technique used to capture traffic from a network by generating a copy of that traffic, often from a span port or mirror port or via a network tap. Adlex's ITvisibility(TM) enables enterprises to directly measure the IT service levels experienced by all users of all applications all of the time. Service level information is collected directly from the network and data center infrastructure with a passive listening device (PLD (Programmable Logic Device) Refers to a variety of logic chips that are programmable at the customer's site, the customer being the vendor of the finished chip, not the end user. ). By combining Net Optics' network tap technology with the ITvisibility suite, clients will experience a simplified deployment process, and have a single-source solution that enables complete visibility while preventing the network connection from becoming a potential point of failure. Now, companies can easily connect Adlex's passive listening devices to even the most complex network environments.

"Passive access to the network is a crucial part of Adlex's commitment to tracking application service levels with non-intrusive, real-time measurement," said Bob Shaw
