Company Hires Gordon Govens to Expand Media Distribution Opportunities for Its Tubes Network

BOSTON -- Adesso Systems, creator of the breakthrough social sharing service, Tubes[TM], today announced that Gordon Govens, a highly regarded media and online community executive, is now Vice President of Business Development for the company. Gordon will focus on expanding the Tubes network through digital media and online community distribution relationships.

Gordon brings a combination of business development, digital media and online community skills. Most recently at the Internet's largest religious site, Beliefnet, Gordon was Vice President/General Manager for the Digital Media Group and headed Business Development, where he was responsible for launching Beliefnet's digital media business model. Before that, Govens served as VP of Business Development at Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM), the Major League's online arm. Gordon began his business development career at Real Networks as Senior Director of Business Development Media Programming, where he was responsible for targeting, evaluating and developing business collaborations between media companies and Real Networks. Govens holds a JD from Fordham Law School and is a graduate of Swarthmore College.
