Company Comments on the Release of Preliminary Findings of Phase II Trial of Rotigotine CDS in Restless Legs Syndrome Completed by Schwarz

Aderis Pharmaceuticals announced today that Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Peter Savas, will present a corporate overview and clinical trial update on Tuesday, October 8 at 8:30 a.m. (EST) during the UBS Warburg Global Life Sciences Conference. Aderis Pharmaceuticals has four product candidates currently in clinical development for five indications. These include the Company's lead product candidate, Rotigotine CDS, which is currently in Phase III clinical trials for treatment of Parkinson's disease and Phase II clinical trials for treatment of Restless Legs Syndrome. Preliminary analyses of data from the Phase II trial of Rotigotine CDS in Restless Legs Syndrome being conducted by Schwarz Pharma AG indicate that treatment with Rotigotine resulted in a significant, dose-related improvement in symptoms. Full analysis of the dataset is ongoing. Schwarz Pharma will report final analysis in November at the 7th International Congress of Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders in Miami.

Restless Legs Syndrome is a neurological disorder that often results in moderate to severe sleep deprivation. It is estimated to affect up to 12 million Americans. Today there are no approved therapies for this indication.
