Adept Technology Signs Agreement to Become First Robotics Vendor Included in InPart's DesignSuite Internet-Based Library.

, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1998--Adept(R) Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:ADTK), a leading supplier of factory automation products, today announced that InPart will be adding Adept's full range of robot, vision and motion control products to its DesignSuite Internet-based library.

In addition, DesignSuite models will be compatible with the AdeptRAPID(TM) simulation software Simulation software is based on the process of imitating a real phenomenon with a set of mathematical formulas. With the addition of Adept products to DesignSuite, customers will now have 24x7 access to continuously updated Adept product information, including engineering changes and new product releases in a format compatible with any 2D/3D CAD system.
