Adept Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:ADTK), a leading manufacturer of flexible automation for the telecommunications, fiber optic and semiconductor industries, today announced the first public showing of the AdeptAlign 650 pre-aligner at the SEMICON SEMICON Semiconductors Equipment and Material International Conference  West 2001 tradeshow (Adept booth No. 3306) in San Francisco, Calif., which runs July 16th-20th. The new atmospheric pre-aligner is designed for wafer handling front-end applications and enables high-speed wafer orientation.

"The AdeptAlign 650 extends our component product line and allows us to meet semiconductor market needs for wafer alignment," said Joe Campbell, vice president of marketing for Adept Technology. "Coupled with the AdeptVicron and AdeptSix robots we now have a complete wafer handling solution."

The AdeptAlign 650 is an atmospheric three-axis pre-aligner that automatically aligns and orients 150mm, 200mm, and 300mm wafers without a hardware change or user intervention in semiconductor applications.

Adept will be exhibiting at SEMICON West July 16th-20th in San Francisco, California “San Francisco” redirects here. For other uses, see San Francisco (disambiguation).
