:ADTK), today announced that Ford Motor Company's Vehicle Operations Group, based in Dearborn, MI, has placed cumulative orders with Adept worth approximately $2.5 million for CimStation Inspection licenses and engineering services.

The orders complete the first phase of their $15 million multi-year agreement, previously announced in August, to incorporate CimStation Inspection into Ford manufacturing worldwide. The initial order has already been successfully implemented in more than ten separate domestic and international manufacturing sites. Recently received orders will provide additional seats of CimStation Inspection to Ford's worldwide manufacturing facilities as part of their on-going automation programs.

"Ford's selection of CimStation Inspection was the result of extensive review and testing of all the available solutions," said Charlie Duncheon, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Adept Technology. "It will allow Ford to utilize concurrent engineering practices to increase productivity and decrease costly production downtime."
