LoPrete (medieval history, National U. of Ireland-Galway) was poking around some dusty old archives in Paris one day, and discovered information about Adela that was not compatible with the widely known accounts of her life. Curious, she begin searching out charters and other primary sources, and discovered more and more discrepancies.
