Addy Machinery adds to its Mazak territory.

AMTDA distributor Addy Machinery Co. (Clinton Township, Mich.) has handled Mazak machine tools in the eastern half of Michigan since 1978. It now will be serving Mazak customers in the western half of the state's lower peninsula and the eastern portion of the upper peninsula (the remainder of the U.P. is covered by Wisconsin's Machinery Systems North). A new sales office in Grand Rapids will be headed by VP Peter Addy and will include three sales engineers, six service workers, and an applications engineer. This new western-Michigan office will report to Mazak's regional HQ in Schaumburg, Ill. Addy Machinery (www.addymachinery.com) will continue to operate its 20,000-sq.-ft. tech center in the Detroit metro area's northeastern sector.
