ADDWAITYA was the lone favourite to live up to its expectation among three feature events at the races At The Races is a British television channel, originally co-founded with Channel 4, but now owned by a partnership between British Sky Broadcasting, Arena Leisure PLC and 28 (out of the 59) UK racecourses.  in Sakhir yesterday.

Nader A Aziz steered Rabdaan 1343, owned by Al Sakhir and trained by Fadhel Al Asfoor, to a fine one-and-half-a-length victory over Al Jellaby 1268 to win the race for Arabian horses.

Rabdaan 1170 was third and Al Hamdaany 1232 fourth.

Outsiders dominated the three supporting races as well winning two of the three. The supporting races were sponsored by Kuwait Finance House (Bahrain).

Bobs Yer Uncle, owned by Al Nasseriyeh, trained by Alan Smith and ridden by Gerald Avranche, began the day well for the favourites winning the race for locally bred horses.

Ogilvy, owned by Fawzi Abdulla Nass, trained by Fawzi Nass and ridden by Wayne Smith, beat Wizard of Noz by two-length while Landslide landslide, rapid slipping of a mass of earth or rock from a higher elevation to a lower level under the influence of gravity and water lubrication. More specifically, rockslides are the rapid downhill movement of large masses of rock with little or no hydraulic flow,  was third and Lucavan Legend fourth.
