The WebShuttle II is operating system independent. It takes the full bandwidth capacity of your DSL or Cable Modem connection and shares it among all the users connected to your network whether they are running Windows, Macintosh OS, Linux, or UNIX UNIX

The WebShuttle II has an email gateway, which allows users to share one e-mail account, with one address for many users. The email gateway, which is easily configured through the web browser set-up screens, will automatically route emails to individuals on the network.

WebShuttle II includes built-in firewall protection and administrator access management features with password protected configuration settings to ensure network security. It also has a filter, which can be set by the administrator to limit whether users have access only to email, web-browsing, or both functions.

The WebShuttle II also has a built-in DHCP Server that assigns an IP address automatically to every network user. Protocol support includes TCP/IP TCP/IP
