Additives line arrives from India.

Technick Products, Rahway, N.J., a supplier of synthetic lubricants and cleaning compounds, is now the exclusive North American distributor of plant-derived additives for polyolefins, PVC, styrenics, polyurethane, nylon, ABS, PC, and other engineering plastics. Made by Fine Organics in India, the additives include internal and external lubricants, processing aids, flow promoters, slip additives, and anti-block agents. Other products are secondary antioxidants, viscosity depressants, secondary plasticizers, and antifog additives.

One product is a multifunctional processing aid for filled and reinforced thermoplastics and thermosets, color masterbatches, and flame-retardant compounds. Plastaid-T boasts lower viscosity and better flow than competing products. It also imparts uniform dispersion of fillers, higher impact strength, reduced mold shrinkage, and lower die swell.
