"Nano App 2007 is the most applications focused nanotechnology event of the year, addressing industry-specific applications in Automotive, CleanTech and Defense sectors. It's all about nanotechnology applications With nanotechnology, a large set of materials and improved products rely on a change in the physical properties when the feature sizes are shrunk. Nanoparticles for example take advantage of their dramatically increased surface area to volume ratio. Their optical properties, e.g.  today -- not years into the future. Our corporate sponsors recognize nanotechnology is having a dramatic impact on our world and have a vested interest Vested Interest

"We're pleased to have Dr. Clayton Teague join this year's Nano App Summit line-up. As the Director of the National Nanotechnology Coordination Office and a world class scientist in his own right, he possesses a unique perspective to challenge attendees to reflect upon on the progress of nanotechnology to date and to consider where we might head with nanotechnology in the future," said Sean Murdock, Executive Director of the NanoBusiness Alliance.

The 2007 Nano App Summit is part of a five day series of activities during Nano Week in Cleveland, October 22-26. Stay tuned to www.nano-network.org for more details about Nano Week.
